The majority of CIT's property investments are now made via our Funds.
Prior to focusing on arranging and raising real estate funds, CIT purchased approximately
£1.8 billion of assets spanning the UK, continental Europe, the USA and Far
East.
Since 2005, the majority of CIT's European property investments are now made via
our Funds. We currently have two Funds, one covering the UK, the other Germany.
A third, pan-European Fund is in the process of being raised and is expected to
close in March 2008. In future, we anticipate raising a new Fund almost every year.
Fund management and Fund raising is carried out at our Nassau office in The Bahamas.
Investors in our Funds are typically large institutions from across the world, although
high net worth individuals also participate. Their decision to invest is driven
by our outstanding team of some 45 professionals with a depth and breadth of experience
covering every aspect of property investment. A team who, in 12 years of operating,
has delivered a 22.2% Investor IRR net of all fees and taxes. A team whose interests
are aligned with those of our investors because CIT itself, and its staff, also
invest in the Funds.
